Tell me a bit about your background, where you're from etc, anything from your background that defines you as an artist or your music
I grew up in Paris and Basel. I’ve been living in London since I was 18 years old. Moving to London definitely helped me shape my sound. The Uk has a very distinctive sound and has a lot of history when it comes to musical genres. Growing up in Europe also helped me a lot especially in French speaking language where the music has always been influenced by other cultures.
How would you describe your music to someone who's never heard of you? and what inspires your sound?
I would describe my music as bouncy and melodic, I think whether it sounds happy or more dark and sad I always bring a strong sense of rhythm. I always try to also bring melodies and harmonies to soften up the track as a whole. I Would definitely say that my music is energetic but also has an intimate touch to it.
What obstacles have you faced within music or within yourself and have had to overcome in order to grow as an artist?
I think the doubts artists face these days are constant doubts. Relating a track and it not doing well can be very hard especially depending on your expectations or how much you’ve invested into it. I think the only remedy that works for me is to keep releasing tracks and keep making more music. Stay inspired and remind yourself why music makes you happy.
How would you define success for yourself as an artist?
Success for myself as an artist would be becoming a household name in the industry. I define success as well by how much someone can influence a generation or people in general.
What's your plan for this next year?
My plan for this next year is to keep releasing the music that belongs on my latest project. Instead of releasing the project all at once, I’ve decided to release the project as a TV series - One song every two weeks. My plan is to grow my fan base and keep doing live shows to showcase my versatility in the London scene.
