Tell me a bit about your background, where you're from etc, anything from your background that defines you as an artist or your music

My name is GBNGA and I'm from North London, Tottenham. Coming from Tottenham, I grew up on artists such as Skepta and everyone else that you see on Channel U from back in the day. As I got older, my music taste grew and I fell in love with US artists like Tyler The Creator and J.Cole. I feel like my artistry is mainly based on my background, being a North Londoner and trying to show my world through the sounds of my music. 

How do you hope to impact people with your music?

I hope to inspire people to dream and never feel like they're not good enough to be who they want to be. I also want people to feel comfortable in their skin because I've had my own challenges with anxiety and insecurities.

What is your plan for the next year?

To keep on growing and learning. There's a lot more that I want to explore like production.

How would you describe your music to someone who's never heard of you?

Insightful, exciting and smooth.
